Shanti Banaras – ROAR
Set deep in the forest and rooted in the spirit of the tiger, Roar was a campaign that brought together craft, conservation, and storytelling at a remarkable scale. Through the lens of Banarasi weaves, the images spoke to disappearing habitats, deforestation, and the delicate tension between the wild and the human. We navigated narrow forest trails with vanity vans, crew vehicles, and equipment trucks — working against time and terrain to install six life-sized tiger sculptures crafted from wood, mosaic, wire, and papier-mâché. These weren’t just props; they held weight, both visual and symbolic. At one point, someone asked if they were AI-generated — a quiet nod to how surreal and lifelike they had become in the frame. The final scene unfolded near a forest waterbody, where three tigers stood lit against the fading evening sky. The image held — still, glowing, and otherworldly. This was a shoot that asked for precision, patience, and a certain kind of faith. Roar was more than just fashion — it was a tribute to wild beauty, human effort, and the fragile power of what still remains.

Tilfi – Katha
Katha was a soul-stirring experience — a campaign rooted in classical performance and Banarasi weaving, where two traditional art forms met through movement and fabric. Casting lay at the heart of the process. Over two to three weeks, we met dancer after dancer until the right faces emerged — artists who carried both grace and truth in how they moved. What unfolded on set felt quietly profound: the Guru seated among his shishyas, each one steeped in discipline and devotion. Between takes, we watched younger dancers touch his feet, seeking his blessing — a small but powerful reminder of traditions that still hold firm in an ever-shifting world. The concept followed a day in the life of a Katha dancer — not the performances, but the in-betweens. The way they stretched, braided their hair, shared a tea break. The moments that usually go unseen. The location, too, mirrored the tone — a space of natural light and silence, where the rhythm of the day could unfold without interruption. Katha reminded us that storytelling doesn’t always need scale — sometimes, presence, listening, and reverence for craft are enough.

PERO
The Péro Spring-Summer shoot unfolded across a quiet hilltop in Uttarakhand — chosen for its natural stillness and the way it echoed the organic softness of the collection. Under the creative direction of Nikhil D and Péro’s founder Aneeth Arora, the vision was immersive: a harvest festival built from scratch. Nothing was repurposed. Everything — from hay-thatched roofs and fruit-laden arches to hand-tied apple trees and custom headgear — was carefully crafted to feel lived-in, festive, and full of texture. We brought together a crew of over 80 across cities, transporting truckloads of fresh produce up the winding roads. A transparent acrylic wall was installed on location to layer the frames with subtle surrealism — always supporting, never distracting. The terrain was unpredictable. The schedule tight. But with clear planning and close coordination, the production moved with quiet precision. Every detail was considered, every challenge met with care. What came through wasn’t just the beauty of the visuals — but the integrity behind them. A production that held space for craft, culture, and the joy of building something from the ground up.

Nike x NBNW
This was a first — Nike’s debut collaboration with an Indian fashion label, and a women-led one at that. NorBlackNorWhite brought their bold, culture-forward lens to the table, and Nike handed them the reins. The brief: reimagine Indian Sports Day from a female-first perspective, rooted in the ancient art of bandhani and reframed through the language of contemporary streetwear. Shot by Bharat Sikka across Jaipur, the campaign leaned into contrasts — surreal but documentary, grounded yet graphic. Art direction played a central role, not as a backdrop, but as part of the storytelling itself. Casting was deliberate and personal. It wasn’t about finding faces — it was about finding a community. Real athletes led the visuals: cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues, wrestler Anshu Malik, sprinter Priya Mohan, and more. Each brought their own presence, strength, and story to the frame. The production was a ride — one day, three shifts, five locations. From Jaipur’s winding gallis to the scale of Jaigarh Fort, we moved with a crew of over 100 through blazing sun, surprise rain, and a full-on dust storm. Chaos, yes. But also clarity — a team moving in sync to build something that felt new. The result? A campaign that felt alive. Joyful, intentional, and full of layered pride — for the sport, the craft, and the women reshaping how we see both.

Kanakvalli – Then and Now
Our relationship with Kanakavalli has grown over the years — shaped by a shared respect for detail, thoughtfulness, and the power of personal stories. When they reached out to revisit a portrait series first created three years ago, it felt like stepping into an ongoing narrative — one we were now entrusted to carry forward with care and intention. Nine women who had once shared their stories in front of the lens were invited back — this time to reflect on how their lives had evolved. The intention was simple: to honour their journeys with portraits that felt honest, intimate, and true to where they were now. Each shoot was designed around the individual — photographed in her own hometown, with styling that felt personal yet quietly unexpected. Schedules were planned with care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and a sense of ease. Even the catering was tailored — a small gesture that added warmth to the experience so much so, that there were requests to pack the leftovers — always a good sign. Across cities and timelines, this was a collaboration built on trust, empathy, and efficiency. More than a shoot, it became a shared experience — thoughtfully woven together to celebrate change, memory, and the quiet dignity of real stories told well.

EKA Film 1
There was a certain lightness to this shoot — the kind that feels unforced, flowing, and free. But behind that quiet ease was a production held together by thoughtful planning and an all-women-led team who moved with intuition and care. Shot under the creative direction of Nikhil Mansata, the brief centred on movement, air, and the subtle rhythm of festive change. From the photographer and videographer to the movement director, the energy on set was collaborative — less instruction, more instinct. You could feel it in the way people listened, adjusted, and responded in sync. Logistically, the day was anything but simple. We moved across rooftops and open spaces, each setup requiring groundwork—local permissions, safety checks, rooftop rigging, and ladder placements for that perfect kite shot. The frame may have looked effortless, but it was built on precision behind the scenes. Kite flying became the shoot’s quiet thread — symbolic, playful, and celebratory. Watching the girls move freely in those airy Eka garments, framed against the Jaipur sky, felt just right. Off-camera, our crew kept time, ensured safety, and held the mood steady. Like all good sets, this one had its comforts — Blue Tokai coffee, Maggi breaks, and the kind of energy that only comes from a team that’s fully aligned. It’s a location we’ve returned to often. But on this day, with this team, it felt new again — lighter, softer, and held together by intention.

Anavila – French
We worked on a visually rich shoot for Anavila, bringing together the brand’s timeless elegance with a French-inspired theme. The production was detailed and deliberate, with every element crafted to enhance the visual storytelling. The block-printed garments, inspired by French lace, were paired with hand-painted backdrops that echoed vintage wall art, complete with textured relief work and softly aged surfaces. Props played a key role — from a 150-year-old sewing machine sourced from outside Delhi (with special permissions from an art collector), to a custom wrought-iron chair layered with Anavila upholstery. A French newspaper added charm, while a French cat served as a whimsical centerpiece. Hair, makeup, and styling complemented the mood with soft waves, glowing skin, and effortlessly draped silhouettes. Every touch, from pastel tones to curated vintage pieces, came together to create a dream-like atmosphere that reflected Anavila’s collection with quiet elegance.

Anavila Aamod
Set against the timeless beauty of Bundi Palace, Aamod was a production that called for patience, precision, and a deep respect for its surroundings. The challenge was to transform the space without altering a single surface. To achieve this, our team designed large muslin fabric installations that framed the palace’s architecture without covering its details — every pillar, motif, and floor tile was carefully measured and left untouched. Despite continuous rain, the entire setup was completed in just three days, turning the space into an immersive, textural experience. The energy on set was steady and collaborative. Local villagers added authenticity, while monkeys weaving through balconies kept the team on their toes. The styling and draping, inspired by the motifs in the garments themselves, brought the visual language full circle — thoughtful, quiet, and in tune with the space. The shoot wrapped with a peaceful rooftop dinner; a moment of stillness after a project shaped by care and craft.

AIR INDIA (directors cut)
The Air India 320 shoot was a calm, focused effort in a high-pressure setting. At Elements, we believe in doing what it takes — and then a little more — to bring a vision to life. Filmed on an active airport tarmac with heavy winds, tight security, and limited access, the production came together through patience, precision, and teamwork. Our crew worked overnight to capture the aircraft’s luxurious interiors, India-inspired details, and refined seating. To bring in the feel of golden-hour skies, special lighting was designed and rigged to recreate the warmth of sunrise and the softness of sunset. With careful planning and close collaboration with Air India’s team, what could have been a logistical challenge became a smooth, cinematic celebration of Indian hospitality and design.

Payal Khandwala-Museum
This production began as something else entirely — a shoot with an Olympic athlete visiting India. When schedules shifted, the idea stayed: a space that felt still, sculptural, and museum-like. With no perfect location in sight, we built one from scratch.

Tilfi Banaras – Banaras, Bombay
When Tilfi set its sights on Mumbai, it wasn’t just about opening a store—it was about finding stillness in a city that never stops. Much like Banaras, Mumbai holds quiet pockets where time slows, and the spirit breathes. The campaign set out to capture those spaces—refined, rooted, and full of grace.

Kartik Research
Some productions leave a mark not for their scale, but for the people and emotion they carry. This one was personal. Produced for my son, Aaryan Sinha, who was behind the lens, it unfolded alongside another mother–son duo: Kartik and his mother, whose quiet bond brought something deeply honest to the frame.
